Abstract:
Saltmarsh data shows the areal locations of salt marshes within the Avon-Heathcote Estuary. Data was captured as part of the study, Ecology of the Avon-Heathcote Estuary: Comparative Salt Marsh Survey 2006-2007, in the summer of 2006/2007. The recordings were done with a trimble Geo-XT GPS unit.
This data on salt marsh distribution was collected to compare against the results of a previous study (McCombs and Patridge, 1992) and see the changes over time. No meaningful attributes are provided except areas of the salt marshes and date surveyed. |

Metadata elements shown with blue text are defined in the Federal Geographic Data Committee's (FGDC) Content Standard for Digital Geospatial Metadata (CSDGM). Elements shown with green text are defined in the ESRI Profile of the CSDGM. Elements shown with a green asterisk (*) will be automatically updated by ArcCatalog. ArcCatalog adds hints indicating which FGDC elements are mandatory; these are shown with gray text.
